About ERBYB

The Elk River Boys Youth Basketball Association (ERBYB) is an all volunteer group of Elk River citizens who help young boys learn and participate in the game of basketball.

ERBYB conducts both an in house and travel program as well as numerous player and coaches clinics, tournaments and other events to promote and support the boys basketball experience in Elk River.

The in-house basketball program starts out in the 1st grade and runs through the 10th grade. The in-house programs includes a weekly practice and officiated games played on Saturdays.

For student athletes looking for a more competitive brand of basketball we offer a Travel Program that starts in the 4th grade and runs through the 9th grade. Travel program requires student athletes to try out and commit to two practices a week and weekend games and tournament play.

ERBYB consists of an all volunteer board dedicated to providing a positive and competitive basketball experience to the youth of Elk River. Anyone interested in contributing to the boys youth basketball program in Elk River is welcome to attend our monthly board meetings. We are always looking for volunteers to help make the basketball experience for our student athletes a continuous success.

Volunteer Requirements

Starting with the 2008-2009 season, the $100 volunteer deposit requirement has been eliminated. However, the Travel and House programs can still use the help of volunteers during the season.

Please keep in mind that this entire program is volunteer driven. If you are a parent of a house league player and you wish to volunteer in any way to help the program, please contact our concessions manager to offer your assistance.
